Compared to the same time last year, home values in our area have shown moderate but steady appreciation. Faster sales and healthy competition: Homes are spending much less time on the market than last winter. Throughout late spring and summer, many homes sold in about a month—down from nearly three months previously. This means serious buyers are acting quickly, and sellers are seeing efficient, timely closings.
