If you’ve spent time around Stanwood or Camano Island, you know that February brings one of our most exciting events—Glass Quest season. And for those new to the area, it’s a chance to join a fun, 10-day community adventure that welcomes both locals and visitors alike. Northwest Glass Quest 2026 runs February 13th–22nd, celebrating all the things that make our area special.
Each winter, Glass Quest transforms beaches, parks, trails, and local shops into a shared adventure playground. Community members and visitors alike grab their clue sheets and set out, exploring the area while searching for the hidden clue balls along the way.
What Is the Northwest Glass Quest?
The Northwest Glass Quest is an annual, community-wide treasure hunt that takes place throughout Stanwood and Camano Island, attracting both locals and visitors from outside the area. During the event, clue balls are hidden at participating locations, and seekers who find one can turn it in to receive a handcrafted glass ball, generously sponsored by local businesses.
The real fun comes from following the clues, exploring new spots, and discovering local gems—whether you’re a longtime resident or visiting for the first time.
